Last updated: June 14, 2026. TickStudio keeps practice data on device by default. If you turn on sync, iOS uses your iCloud and Android uses your Google Drive. A separate TickStudio account is not required.
TickStudio stores BPM, meter, subdivision, sound, volume, theme, music experience, reminders, presets, practice speeds, practice logs, achievements, goals, and setlists on device.
On iOS, supported library and performance data can sync through your iCloud. On Android, supported data can sync through your Google Drive after you enable Google Drive sync.
App stores and RevenueCat handle purchases and Pro access.
Google AdMob may process ad data. Firebase/Google services may process diagnostics, crash reports, or limited usage events to improve reliability.
Cloudflare delivers this website and may provide aggregate traffic analytics.
Normal metronome use does not need contacts, photos, microphone recordings, precise location, or a TickStudio username.
TickStudio does not run a public social profile, feed, or account community for your practice library.
You can manage app settings, reminders, notification permission, iCloud, Google Drive sync, ad preferences, and local app data from the app and operating system.
Deleting the app or clearing device data may remove local TickStudio data. iCloud and Google Drive behavior also depends on Apple or Google account settings.
TickStudio may process device-local app settings, preset libraries, practice speeds, practice records, goals, achievements, reminders, active selections, setlists, purchase status, ad interactions, diagnostic events, crash data, support emails, and website request data.
When available and enabled, platform sync can keep supported library data available across signed-in devices. On iOS this uses the user's iCloud; on Android this uses the user's Google Drive. This can include presets, favorites, recent presets, practice progress, active preset or setlist selections, and performance setlists. iCloud and Google Drive are provided by Apple and Google and are subject to their account, storage, and device settings.
Purchases, subscriptions, entitlements, trials, refunds, and store availability may be handled by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat. We use this information to determine whether Pro features should be available.
When ads are enabled, Google AdMob may process device identifiers, ad interaction data, approximate location, and fraud-prevention signals under Google's policies. Rewarded ads may be used to unlock temporary access to eligible actions.
Firebase/Google services may process crash reports, performance diagnostics, and limited usage events. These events are used to understand reliability and product behavior, not to create a public user profile.
Daily reminders are local notifications controlled by device permission and app settings. TickStudio asks for notification permission once during initial use, and reminders default to 8 PM unless changed.
Wi-Fi sync is for local network performance setups. Device discovery and communication may depend on local network permissions and the devices on the same network.
The marketing site is served by Cloudflare and may use aggregate analytics. It does not require a user account, site search profile, or marketing cookie login.
Local data remains on the device unless platform sync, backup, purchase, ad, diagnostic, or support services process related data. Support emails are retained only as long as needed to respond and maintain support records.
TickStudio is a general-audience app and is not directed to children under 13.
Data processed by Apple, Google, RevenueCat, Cloudflare, or email providers may be handled in regions where those providers operate, subject to their policies and legal requirements.
